I like how easily it integrates with our POS (Toast) and provides both real and theoretical inventory counts, accurate food costs, and reporting tools that make periodic menu reviews a cinch. It also integrates with our food service provider (US Foods) so that it keeps food costs up to date.
Using Restaurant365 to best track product variance and stock counts
Restaurant365 is the central hub for information that our restaurants utilize to increase efficiency and value in our operation. Restaurant365 allowed my location to get rid of the pen and paper inventory tracking and introduced variance reports to better understand where we were losing product and also where we could cut back on labor to increase our margins.
Inventory done right
Before R365 we were using excel spreadsheets for inventory. We relied on our managers to update and add new products. R365 has been a game changer. Inventories are now completed with all products, correct pricing and we are finally putting in prepped items with an accurate cost.
